This is the difficult-to-find ball bearing busing that may be found on many of today’s more pricey beauty shears. This ball bearing has a diameter of 7 x 4 mm and 8 x 5 mm. On most shears, this is the normal ball bearing size. Other types of washers can’t be used in shears that aren’t equipped with ball bearing bushings. In the event that one of these pieces is lost from a shear, the experienced and prepared sharpener will have one on hand.
